Plain-language summary

Shift Planner works locally on your device and does not require an account or sign-in. We do not collect, share, or sell your personal data, and the app contains no advertising or tracking tools.

Data handled by the app

You may enter roster names, shifts, dates, hours, notes, holidays, and shift rates. This information is stored locally on your device solely to provide the app's features.

Sharing, exports, and backups

The app does not transmit your data automatically. When you choose to create a PDF, export a backup, or share a roster, the file is created locally and you choose the receiving app or person. Any third-party service you select is governed by its own privacy policy.

Permissions

The app may use the system file picker and share sheet when you request an import, export, or share action. It does not request ongoing access to your location, contacts, camera, or microphone.

Retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device until you delete it in the app, clear the app's Android storage, or uninstall the app. Exported PDF and backup files can be deleted from their saved location or the service to which you shared them.

Children

The app is a work and roster planning tool, is not directed to children under 13, and does not knowingly collect children's personal information.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect local data. Data safety also depends on the security of your device and any backup files you create.

Changes

We may update this policy if app functionality or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will appear at the top of this page.
